अपरे प्राद्रवन् नागा: शल्यार्ता व्रणपीडिता: । प्रतिमानैश्व कुम्भैश्न पेतुरुव्या महाहवे
apare prādravan nāgāḥ śalyārtā vraṇapīḍitāḥ | pratimānaiś ca kumbhaiś ca petur urvyā mahāhave ||
Sañjaya thưa: Những con voi khác, bị lao đâm hành hạ và quằn quại vì đau đớn do vết thương, hoảng loạn bỏ chạy; và trong trận đại chiến ấy, chúng gục xuống đất, thân hình đồ sộ cùng chiếc đầu to như chum nện mạnh khi ngã nhào.
