कृष्णोपदेशः, अर्जुनस्य क्षमा-याचनम्, कर्णवध-अनुज्ञा

अभ्यद्रवन्त समरे भीम॑ भीमपराक्रमम् । प्रभो! उस शूरवीरकों मारा गया देख उसके भाई समरभूमिमें भयंकर पराक्रमी भीमसेनपर सब ओरसे टूट पड़े
abhyadravanta samare bhīmaṁ bhīmaparākramam | prabho! taṁ śūravīraṁ hataṁ dṛṣṭvā tasya bhrātaraḥ samarabhūmau bhayaṅkara-parākramiṇaṁ bhīmasenam sarvataḥ samantāt pratyapatanta |
Sañjaya thưa: “Giữa trận mạc, họ xông tới Bhīma—Bhīma có uy lực đáng sợ. Tâu Chúa thượng, thấy vị dũng sĩ ấy bị giết, các anh em của người, bừng bừng bởi tang thương và bổn phận, từ bốn phía ào lên chiến địa nhằm vào Bhīmasena, kẻ có sức mạnh kinh hoàng.”
