Karṇa’s Pressure on the Pāñcālas; Duryodhana Disabled; Arjuna’s Counter-Advance
एकपाती च चक्राजड़: काक: पातशतेन च । पेतिवानथ चक्राड़: पेतिवानथ वायस:
ekapātī ca cakrāṅgaḥ kākaḥ pātaśatena ca | petivān atha cakrāṅgaḥ petivān atha vāyasaḥ ||
Rồi thiên nga và quạ lại cất cánh trong thế tranh đua. Thiên nga cakrāṅga bay theo một đường bay duy nhất, vững vàng; còn quạ thì cố vượt quãng ấy bằng trăm lượt bay giật cục, rời rạc. Vì thế, cakrāṅga vút lên từ một phía, quạ từ phía khác—ngụ ý rằng sự điềm định và nỗ lực có kỷ luật vượt hơn sự bồn chồn, phân mảnh do lòng hiếu thắng thúc đẩy.
