Educational Q&A

The verse highlights radical generosity and readiness to relinquish even the dearest attachments—family, pleasures, and wealth—when one feels bound by a compelling duty, promise, or moral claim.

In Sañjaya’s report, a speaker expresses an extreme willingness to give ‘again’ whatever he owns—family and riches included—to satisfy what ‘he’ desires, emphasizing the intensity of the commitment being described.
