Adhyāya 31

बलवन्तो महात्मान: कौन्तेया: सत्यविक्रमा: । बल॑ शेषं न हन्यूमें यथा तत्‌ कुरु पार्थिव,'भूपाल! बलवान, महामनस्वी और सत्यपराक्रमी कुन्तीकुमार मेरी शेष सेनाको जिस तरह भी नष्ट न कर सकें, ऐसा उपाय कीजिये

sañjaya uvāca | balavanto mahātmānaḥ kaunteyāḥ satyavikramāḥ | balaśeṣaṃ na hanyūme yathā tat kuru pārthiva |

Sañjaya nói: “Các con của Kuntī đều hùng mạnh, đại hồn, và chân thật trong dũng lực. Tâu Đại vương, xin hãy bày một kế sách để họ không thể tiêu diệt phần binh lực còn lại của ta.”
