अपन का बा | ऑफ क्राछ एकत्रिशो< ध्याय: रात्रिमें कौरवोंकी मन्त्रणा, धृतराष्ट्रके द्वारा दैवकी प्रबलताका प्रतिपादन, संजयद्ारा धृतराष्ट्रपर दोषारोप तथा कर्ण और दुर्योधनकी बातचीत धृतराष्ट उवाच स्वेनच्छन्देन न: सर्वानवधीद् व्यक्तमर्जुन: । न हास्य समरे मुच्येदन््तको5प्याततायिन:,धृतराष्ट्रने कहा--संजय! निश्चय ही अर्जुनने अपनी इच्छासे हमारे सब सैनिकोंका वध किया। समरांगणमें यदि वे शस्त्र उठा लें तो यमराज भी उनके हाथसे जीवित नहीं छूट सकता
dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca | svecchandena naḥ sarvān avadhīd vyaktam arjunaḥ | na hāsya samare mucyed antako 'py ātātāyī ||
Dhṛtarāṣṭra nói: “Sañjaya, rõ ràng Arjuna, hoàn toàn theo ý chí của mình, đã giết sạch quân ta. Trên chiến địa, một khi chàng cầm vũ khí, thì ngay cả Thần Chết—dẫu là kẻ xâm hại tàn bạo—cũng không thể thoát sống khỏi tay chàng.”
