अध्याय २९: कर्णस्य शल्यं प्रति शापस्मरणं च युद्धनिश्चयः | Chapter 29: Karṇa recalls curses to Śalya and declares resolve for battle
वादित्रशब्दैर्विविधै: सिंहनादै: सगर्जिति: । परानुपहसन्तश्न स्तुवन्तश्नाच्युतार्जुनी
vāditraśabdair vividhaiḥ siṃhanādaiḥ sagarjitaiḥ | parān upahasantaś ca stuvantaś cācyutārjunau rājann |
Sañjaya thưa: Tâu Đại vương, khi ngày dần khép lại và quân Kaurava đã rút lui, các Pāṇḍava cũng giành thế thượng phong, lòng phấn chấn, rồi trở về doanh trại. Với muôn tiếng nhạc khí, tiếng gầm như sư tử và tiếng hò vang như sấm, họ chế nhạo cuộc tháo lui của địch và tán dương Kṛṣṇa (Acyuta) cùng Arjuna, khẳng định rằng thắng lợi không chỉ nhờ sức mạnh, mà còn nhờ sự lãnh đạo kiên định và sự đồng tâm tận tụy.
