त्रिपुरदाह-इतिहासः
Tripura-destruction exemplum and counsel to Śalya
सुतसोमस्ततो<गच्छच्छुतकीर्तेर्महारथम् । सौबलो<पि भनुर्गह्य घोरमन्यत् सुदुर्जयम्
Sutasomas tato ’gacchac Chutakīrter mahāratham | Saubalo ’pi Bhānur gṛhya ghoram anyat sudurjayam ||
Sañjaya nói: Rồi Sutasoma tiến lên đối đầu với đại xa chiến binh Śutakīrti. Saubala cũng vậy, dẫn theo Bhānu, thúc quân hướng tới một đối thủ khác đáng sợ và khó khuất phục—cho thấy trong cơn hỗn loạn chiến trường, các chiến sĩ chủ ý tìm kẻ địch xứng tầm và ràng buộc mình vào những liên minh do nhu cầu, dù cuộc chạm trán hứa hẹn hiểm nguy.
