ततस्तं निशितं खड्गमाविध्य युधि सत्वर: । धनुश्नान्यत् समादाय शरं जग्राह वीर्यवान्
tatastaṃ niśitaṃ khaḍgam āvidhya yudhi satvaraḥ | dhanuḥ anyat samādāya śaraṃ jagrāha vīryavān ||
Sañjaya nói: Rồi ngay giữa trận địa, người dũng sĩ ấy vội vã vung thanh kiếm sắc; cầm lấy một cây cung khác, chàng nắm lấy một mũi tên—tỏ rõ ý chí không hề suy chuyển và sự sẵn sàng tiếp tục giao chiến, mặc cho vận hội chiến tranh đổi thay.
