Karṇa-parva Adhyāya 20 — Yudhiṣṭhira–Duryodhana Encounter and Escalation of Arms
ज्यातलत्रधनु:शब्द: कुछ्जराणां च बृंहताम् | पादातानां च पततां नृणां नादो महानभूत्
jyātalatra-dhanuḥ-śabdaḥ kuñjarāṇāṃ ca bṛṃhatām | pādātānāṃ ca patatāṃ nṛṇāṃ nādo mahān abhūt ||
Sañjaya nói: “Bấy giờ dấy lên một tiếng ồn ào khủng khiếp—tiếng dây cung bật vang và tiếng cung va chạm, tiếng voi lớn rống lên dữ dội, cùng những tiếng kêu thảm thiết của bộ binh ngã gục trên chiến địa; tất cả hòa thành một âm vang cuồng loạn dội khắp nơi.”
