Sañjaya thưa: “Như vậy, trong bộ Mahābhārata tôn nghiêm, thuộc phần Karṇa Parva, chương thứ hai mươi—nói về việc vua Pāṇḍya bị sát hại—đến đây kết thúc.”
संजय उवाच
This verse functions as a formal colophon: it frames the epic as an ordered moral-historical narration, reminding the reader that acts of war (here, the Pāṇḍya’s death) are being recorded with accountability and sequence rather than celebrated as mere spectacle.
The narrator Sañjaya marks the end of Chapter 20 of the Karṇa Parva, identifying its topic as the slaying of the Pāṇḍya king; it is a transition point before the next unit of narration proceeds.
