Karṇa-parva Adhyāya 19 — Saṃśaptaka–Trigarta Assault and Aindra-astra Counter
तदुदीर्णरथाश्वेभं पत्तिप्रवरसंकुलम् | कुलालचक्रवद् भ्रान्तं पाण्ड्येना भ्याहतं बलात्
tadudīrṇarathāśvebhaṃ pattipravarasaṅkulam | kulālacakravad bhrāntaṃ pāṇḍyenābhyāhataṃ balāt ||
Sañjaya nói: Dẫu đạo quân Kaurava phình to với chiến xa, ngựa và voi, lại chen chúc những bộ binh tinh nhuệ, nhưng khi bị vua Pāṇḍya đánh mạnh, nó liền quay cuồng như bánh xe thợ gốm. Hình ảnh ấy cho thấy: sức đông và khí thế, gặp một đòn phản kích tập trung và hợp lẽ, có thể sụp thành hỗn loạn, mất trật tự ngay giữa chiến trường.
