ततस्तानस्यत: सर्वान्‌ द्रौणेर्बाणान्‌ महात्मन: । जानानोअप्यक्षयान्‌ पाण्ड्योडशातयत्‌ पुरुषर्षभ:,पुरुषशिरोमणि पाण्ड्यने बाण चलाते हुए महामनस्वी अश्वत्थामाके उन सब बाणोंको अक्षय जानते हुए भी काट डाला

Transliteration

tatas tān asyataḥ sarvān drauṇer bāṇān mahātmanaḥ | jānann apy akṣayān pāṇḍyo 'śātayat puruṣarṣabhaḥ ||

Translation

Sañjaya nói: Bấy giờ vua Pāṇḍya, bậc trượng phu kiệt xuất, đã đập tan mọi mũi tên mà người con đại hồn của Droṇa đang bắn tới. Dẫu biết những mũi tên ấy là không sai chạy, ông vẫn chém gãy chúng—tỏ rõ lòng gan dạ vững bền và tài nghệ giữa đạo lý chiến tranh khốc liệt.
