Educational Q&A

Leadership in dharmic warfare entails disciplined preparation and clear command: once entrusted with authority, a commander must organize the army responsibly, setting orderly timing and readiness rather than acting impulsively.

Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that Karṇa has assumed the role of commander-in-chief and has ordered the army to be prepared for battle at sunrise, signaling the formal commencement of the day’s fighting under his leadership.
