Saumadatti-vadha and Bhīma–Alambusa-saṃyoga (सौमदत्तिवधः तथा भीमालम्बुससंयोगः)
अनुज्ञातौ क्षणे तस्मिन् भवेनार्जुनकेशवौ । प्राप्तौी स््वशिबिरं वीरी मुदा परमया युतौ
anujñātau kṣaṇe tasmin bhavena arjuna-keśavau | prāptau svaśibiraṃ vīrau mudā paramayā yutau ||
Sañjaya nói: Ngay trong khoảnh khắc ấy, sau khi được Bhava (Śiva) cho phép, hai bậc anh hùng—Arjuna và Keśava—đã trở về doanh trại của mình, lòng tràn đầy niềm hoan hỷ tối thượng.
संजय उवाच
Even in the midst of warfare, dharmic conduct includes humility and reverence: Arjuna and Kṛṣṇa do not proceed merely by strength, but after receiving Śiva’s permission, showing that righteous action is aligned with higher authority and devotion.
After their encounter with Maheśvara (Śiva), Arjuna and Kṛṣṇa (Keśava) bow in reverence, receive his leave, and immediately return—joyful and reassured—to their own military camp.
