tam āpatatantaṁ vegena vaikartanam ajihāgaiḥ

Translation

Sañjaya nói: Khi Vaikartana (Karna) lao tới với tốc độ dữ dội, chàng đã bị đón đánh và chặn lại bởi những mũi tên như rắn—tựa bầy xà—được phóng ra trong cơn cuồng nộ của chiến trận. Điều ấy cho thấy trong chiến tranh, ngay cả kẻ hùng mạnh nhất cũng phải đối diện với lực đối kháng và mưu lược.
