Chapter 148: Karṇa’s Pressure, Dhṛṣṭadyumna Unhorsed, and the Summoning of Ghaṭotkaca

त॑ समीपस्थितं दृष्टवा लेलिहानमिवानलम्‌ । जयद्रथस्य गोप्तार: संशयं परमं गता:,अपनी लपटोंसे सबको चाट जानेवाली आगके समान अर्जुनको निकट खड़ा देख जयद्रथके रक्षक भारी संशयमें पड़ गये

taṁ samīpasthitaṁ dṛṣṭvā lelihānam ivānalam | jayadrathasya goptāraḥ saṁśayaṁ paramaṁ gatāḥ ||

Sañjaya nói: Thấy Arjuna đứng sát bên—như ngọn lửa bừng cháy tưởng chừng liếm sạch mọi thứ bằng lưỡi lửa—những kẻ hộ vệ Jayadratha bị nỗi nghi hoặc và kinh hoàng sâu thẳm chiếm lấy. Ngay khoảnh khắc ấy, niềm tin rằng họ có thể che chở cho hắn đã lung lay trước cơn phẫn nộ chính nghĩa và ý chí sắt đá của Arjuna.
