Chapter 148: Karṇa’s Pressure, Dhṛṣṭadyumna Unhorsed, and the Summoning of Ghaṭotkaca
मध्यंदिनगतं सूर्य प्रतपन्तमिवाम्बरे । न शेकुः सर्वभूतानि पाण्डवं प्रतिवीक्षितुम्
madhyaṁdinagataṁ sūryaṁ pratapantam ivāmbare | na śekuḥ sarvabhūtāni pāṇḍavaṁ prativīkṣitum, rājan | tatpaścāt arjunaḥ baḍe-baḍe rathiyoṁ ko lāñchakara āge baḍha gaye | usa samaya ākāśa meṁ tapate hue dopahar ke sūrya ke samān pāṇḍuputra arjuna kī ora sampūrṇa prāṇī dekh nahīṁ pāte the |
Sañjaya nói: “Tâu Đại vương, muôn loài không thể nhìn thẳng vào vị Pāṇḍava, vì chàng rực cháy như mặt trời giữa trưa thiêu đốt bầu trời. Rồi Arjuna thúc tiến, đẩy lùi những chiến xa hùng mạnh; khi ấy, con trai của Pāṇḍu như mặt trời trưa rực lửa, không thể chịu nổi khi nhìn.”
