यं समासाद्य पुत्रै्मे कृतं वैरं महारथै: । त॑ सूततनयं तात कथं भीमो हायोधयत्‌

sañjaya uvāca | yaṃ samāsādya putrair me kṛtaṃ vairaṃ mahārathaiḥ | taṃ sūta-tanayaṃ tāta kathaṃ bhīmo hy ayodhayat ||

Sañjaya nói: “Hỡi người thân yêu, dựa vào ông ấy mà các con trai ta đã khởi sự mối thù với những đại xa chiến binh, các Pāṇḍava. Vậy Bhīmasena đã giao chiến với Karṇa—con của người đánh xe—như thế nào?”
