भीमसेनो5पि समरे तावुभौ केशवार्जुनौ । अश्रावयद् यथावृत्तमिरावद्ध धमुत्तमम्,भीमसेनने भी समरभूमिमें श्रीकृष्ण और अर्जुन दोनोंको इरावान्के वधका यथावत् वृत्तान्त अच्छी तरह सुना दिया

bhīmaseno 'pi samare tāv ubhau keśavārjunau |
aśrāvayad yathāvṛttam irāvadvadham uttamam ||
Sañjaya nói: Bhīmasena cũng ở chiến trường đã thuật lại rành rẽ cho cả Keśava (Kṛṣṇa) và Arjuna toàn bộ diễn biến—cách Irāvān bị sát hại—để các bậc chỉ huy hiểu rõ sự tình mà hành xử đúng theo dharma giữa gánh nặng đạo lý của chiến tranh.
