Sanjaya nói: Khi ông ta lao tới, Bhāradvāja hùng mãnh (Droṇa) nổi giận, liền nhanh như chớp chém đứt cây cung của đối thủ bằng một mũi tên duy nhất.
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights how, in war, technical mastery and presence of mind can neutralize an opponent by disabling weapons rather than immediately killing—yet it also shows how anger (krodha) fuels decisive action, raising ethical tension between disciplined skill and wrath-driven violence.
As an opponent charges in, Droṇa—called Bhāradvāja—becomes enraged and instantly cuts the attacker’s bow with a single arrow, depriving him of his primary weapon and shifting the advantage on the battlefield.
