उक्तो हि विदुरेणाहं हितं पथ्यं च नित्यश: । न च जग्राह तन्मन्द: पुत्रो दुर्योधनो मम
ukto hi vidureṇāhaṁ hitaṁ pathyaṁ ca nityaśaḥ | na ca jagrāha tanmandaḥ putro duryodhano mama ||
Sañjaya nói: “Vidura đã nhiều lần nói với ta điều lợi ích và điều phải đạo. Thế nhưng đứa con ngu muội của ta, Duryodhana, đã không chịu nghe theo. Ta hiểu rằng Vidura, bậc đại nhân, như thể toàn tri; bởi vậy những kết cục này đã sớm hiện lên trong tâm trí ông và đã nằm trong tầm nhìn của ông từ trước.”
