Adhyāya 70: Sātyaki’s Arrow-Display and the Bhūriśravas Engagement; Twilight Withdrawal
एष लोकान् ससर्जादौ देवांश्न ऋषिभि: सह । निधन चैव मृत्युं च प्रजानां प्रभवाप्ययौ
eṣa lokān sasarjādau devāṁś ca ṛṣibhiḥ saha | nidhanaṁ caiva mṛtyuṁ ca prajānāṁ prabhavāpyayau ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Chính Ngài, vào buổi đầu của tạo hóa, đã khai sinh mọi thế giới, cùng chư thiên và các bậc ṛṣi. Ngài cũng là nền tảng của sự tiêu vong (pralaya) và là chính hình tướng của Tử thần; từ Ngài mà muôn loài sinh ra và cũng từ Ngài mà muôn loài đi vào đoạn diệt.”
