उदतिष्ठद्‌ रजो भौम॑ छादयानं दिवाकरम्‌ | न दिश: प्रदिशो वापि तत्र हन्यु: कथं नरा:

udatiṣṭhad rajo bhaumaṁ chādayānaṁ divākaram | na diśaḥ pradiśo vāpi tatra hanyuḥ kathaṁ narāḥ ||

Sañjaya nói: Bụi đất từ mặt đất bốc lên cuồn cuộn, che lấp cả mặt trời. Không còn nhận ra phương hướng hay các hướng phụ; trong cảnh ấy, những chiến binh nơi đó làm sao còn biết đánh trúng ai?
