अध्याय ५५ — भीष्मस्य प्रचण्डविक्रमः, अर्जुनप्रत्युत्तरं, कृष्णस्य चक्रोद्यतिः

ततस्ते तावका: सर्वे हृष्टा युद्धाय भारत । दध्मु: शड्खान् मुदा युक्ता: सिंहनादांस्तथोन्नदन्
tataste tāvakāḥ sarve hṛṣṭā yuddhāya bhārata | dadhmuḥ śaṅkhān mudā yuktāḥ siṃhanādāṃstathonnadan |
Sañjaya nói: Bấy giờ, toàn thể quân sĩ phe ngài, hỡi Bharata, hân hoan và nôn nóng bước vào chiến trận, đã vui sướng thổi tù và ốc và đồng loạt gầm vang như tiếng sư tử.
