अभ्यधावन्त सहिता: शल्यप्रभूतयो रथा: । रथियोंमें श्रेष्ठ भीष्मको रथहीन हुआ देख शल्य आदि उत्तम महारथी एक साथ दौड़े
abhya-dhāvanta sahitāḥ śalya-prabhūtayo rathāḥ |
Sañjaya nói: Rồi những chiến xa—do Śalya và các đại chiến xa thủ hàng đầu dẫn đầu—cùng nhau lao tới. Thấy Bhīṣma, bậc nhất trong các dũng sĩ chiến xa, bị bỏ lại không còn xe, họ vội vã đồng lòng xông đến để nâng đỡ và che chở cho ngài.
