रथे भीष्मस्य चिक्षेप यथा देवो धनेश्वर: । उधर श्वेतने क्रोधसे व्याप्त हो उस गदाको आकाशमें घुमाकर भीष्मके रथपर फेंक दिया, मानो कुबेरने गदाका प्रहार किया हो ।।

Transliteration

rathe bhīṣmasya cikṣepa yathā devo dhaneśvaraḥ | tayā bhīṣmanipātinyā sa ratho bhasmasāt-kṛtaḥ ||

Translation

Rồi chàng ném nó vào chiến xa của Bhīṣma, như thể Kubera—Chúa Tể Tài Bảo—giáng đòn chùy của mình. Bởi cú đánh nhằm quật ngã Bhīṣma ấy, chiến xa liền hóa thành tro bụi.
