गौरुडव्यूह-रचना तथा अर्धचन्द्र-प्रत्यव्यूह
Garuḍa Array and the Ardhacandra Counter-Formation
श्वेत: क्रोधसमाविष्टो भ्रामयित्वा तु तां गदाम्
śvetaḥ krodhasamāviṣṭo bhrāmayitvā tu tāṃ gadām
Śveta, bị cơn giận chiếm lĩnh, liền vung xoay cây chùy ấy.
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights how anger can seize a person and propel action; in the Mahābhārata’s ethical frame, krodha is a powerful inner enemy that clouds judgment and intensifies conflict, even when one is acting within the duties of war.
Sañjaya describes Śveta on the battlefield: enraged, he swings/whirls his mace, preparing to strike—an immediate prelude to a forceful attack.
