Garuḍa Array and the Ardhacandra Counter-Formation
चक्रे भग्ने युगे छिन्ने एकथधुयें हये हत:
cakre bhagne yuge chinne ekathādhūye haye hataḥ | jighāṃsantaṃ yudhāṃ śreṣṭha tadā āsīt tumulaṃ mahat ||
Sañjaya thưa: “Tâu Đại vương, khi bánh xe gãy, ách xe vỡ, và ngựa bị giết—khi chiến xa chỉ còn một con ngựa kéo—thì đúng lúc ấy, khi chiến sĩ bậc nhất (Bhīṣma) thúc tới với ý định sát hại, một trận chiến mênh mông và cuồng loạn bùng nổ. Cuộc giằng co càng thêm dữ dội, vì các đại dũng sĩ ào vào để che chở người của mình và ngăn kẻ được chọn khỏi bị tàn sát.”
