गौरुडव्यूह-रचना तथा अर्धचन्द्र-प्रत्यव्यूह
Garuḍa Array and the Ardhacandra Counter-Formation
एके रथं पर्यवहंस्तुरगा: सतुरड्रमम् । युवानं निहतं वीरं लम्बमानं सकार्मुकम्
sañjaya uvāca | eke rathaṁ paryavahaṁs turagāḥ sa-turaṅgamam | yuvānaṁ nihataṁ vīraṁ lambamānaṁ sa-kārmukam, jighāṁsantaṁ yudhāṁ śreṣṭha tadā āsīt tumulaṁ mahat |
Sañjaya thưa: “Tâu Đại vương, có những con ngựa kéo cả chiến xa mà lao chạy cuồng loạn. Trên đó treo lủng lẳng một dũng sĩ trẻ đã bị giết, vẫn còn vướng chặt cây cung. Khi những chiến binh hàng đầu xông lên với ý định sát hại, cuộc chạm trán lúc ấy hóa thành một cơn náo động mênh mông và ghê rợn.”
