Chapter 47: Krauñca-vyūha Deployment and Conch-Signals
Kaurava–Pāṇḍava Readiness
The verse foregrounds dharmic service and loyalty: the speaker offers to fight not for personal gain but “for your sake,” while also emphasizing consent and rightful acceptance (“if you choose/accept me”). Ethical agency is preserved—service is offered, not imposed.
Sañjaya reports a pledge of support in the war: he declares readiness to fight the Kauravas (Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s sons) in battle on behalf of the addressed king, contingent upon being accepted/appointed.
