व्यक्त भीत इवाभ्येति राजासौ भीष्ममन्तिकम्‌ | युधिष्ठटिर: ससोदर्य: शरणार्थ प्रयाचक:,“देखो, स्पष्ट ही दिखायी दे रहा है कि वह राजा युधिष्ठिर भयभीतकी भाँति भाइयोंसहित भीष्मजीके निकट शरण माँगनेके लिये आ रहा है

vyakta-bhīta ivābhyeti rājāsau bhīṣmam antikam | yudhiṣṭhiraḥ sa-sodaryaḥ śaraṇārthaṃ prayācakaḥ |

Sañjaya nói: “Hãy nhìn—rõ ràng trước mắt—vua Yudhiṣṭhira đang tiến đến gần Bhīṣma như kẻ bị nỗi sợ chế ngự. Cùng các em mình, ông đến trong dáng vẻ người cầu khẩn, xin nương tựa.”
