एकादशी धार्तराष्ट्रा कौरवाणां महाचमू: । अग्रतः सर्वसैन्यानां यत्र शान्तनवो5ग्रणी:

Transliteration

ekādaśī dhārtarāṣṭrāḥ kauravāṇāṁ mahācamūḥ | agrataḥ sarvasainyānāṁ yatra śāntanavo 'graṇīḥ ||

Translation

Sañjaya thưa: “Đại quân của Kaurava, thuộc về các con của Dhṛtarāṣṭra, hợp thành đạo quân thứ mười một. Đạo quân ấy đứng ở tuyến đầu của mọi binh đoàn, và người dẫn đầu là Bhīṣma, con của Śāntanu—biểu tượng của kỷ cương chỉ huy và gánh nặng đạo lý của bậc trưởng lão khi dẫn một cuộc chiến giữa ruột thịt.”
