Transliteration

śṛṇu tat pṛthivīpāla mā ca śoke manaḥ kṛthāḥ | diṣṭam etat purā nūnam idam eva narādhipa ||

Translation

Sañjaya thưa: “Xin bệ hạ lắng nghe, hỡi đấng bảo hộ cõi đất; đừng để tâm chìm trong sầu muộn. Tâu chúa tể loài người, chính kết cục này hẳn đã được định sẵn từ thuở xưa.”
