भीष्मपतनविषये धृतराष्ट्रस्य प्रश्नाः | Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Questions on Bhīṣma’s Fall
य आत्मनो दुश्चरितादशुभ प्राप्तुयान्नर: । एनसा तेन नान््यं स उपाशड्कितुमर्हति,जो मनुष्य अपने दुष्कर्मोके कारण अशुभ फल भोग रहा हो, उसे उस पापकी आशंका दूसरेपर नहीं करनी चाहिये
ya ātmanaḥ duścaritād aśubhaṃ prāptuyān naraḥ | enasā tena nānyaṃ sa upāśaṅkitum arhati ||
Sañjaya thưa: Một người đang gánh chịu kết quả bất tường do chính hành vi xấu ác của mình thì không nên đem tội ấy mà nghi kỵ người khác. Gánh nặng của điều ác và quả báo của nó thuộc về kẻ đã làm, không phải về ai khác.
