विक्रीडमानं कौन्तेयं हर्षण महता युतम्‌ । निहत्य तरसा शत्रुं महाबलसमन्वितम्‌

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca | vikrīḍamānaṃ kaunteyaṃ harṣeṇa mahatā yutam | nihatya tarasā śatruṃ mahābalasamanvitam | niṣpāpa mahārāja |

Translation

Sañjaya nói: Tâu đại vương vô tội, chúng thần thấy Bhīma, con của Kuntī, hân hoan tột độ—như thể đang vui đùa—sau khi mau lẹ đánh gục một kẻ thù cũng đầy sức mạnh. Trong cơn sóng chiến thắng nơi chiến địa, khí thế khải hoàn của chàng trào dâng thành những động tác mừng công, cho thấy bổn phận khắc nghiệt của chiến tranh cũng có thể nhóm lên niềm hưng phấn dữ dội trong lòng một chiến sĩ.
