ततस्तमेकं बहव: परिवार्य समन्तत: । परिकाल्य कुरून् सर्वान् शरवर्षरवाकिरन्
tatas tam ekaṁ bahavaḥ parivārya samantataḥ | parikālya kurūn sarvān śaravarṣa-ravākiran ||
Sañjaya nói: Bấy giờ nhiều chiến sĩ vây quanh vị anh hùng cô độc ấy từ mọi phía. Xua lui toàn bộ quân Kuru về mọi hướng, họ bắt đầu trút xuống ông một cơn mưa tên rền vang như sấm.
