सम्भ्रमश्न महानासीत् त्रिदशानां विशाम्पते । पतिष्यति रथाद् भीष्मे सर्वलोकप्रिये तदा
saṁbhramaś ca mahān āsīt tridaśānāṁ viśāmpate | patiṣyati rathād bhīṣme sarvalokapriye tadā prajānātha ||
Sañjaya nói: “Tâu chúa tể muôn dân, giữa chư thiên dấy lên một cơn chấn động lớn. Khi họ hiểu rằng Bhīṣma—người được mọi cõi yêu kính—lúc ấy sắp ngã khỏi chiến xa, ngay cả các bậc trên trời cũng sững sờ kinh ngạc.”
