सहित: सर्वतो यत्तिर्भवद्धिर्वसुधाधिपै: । “अतः योद्धाओ! युद्धभूमिमें अर्जुनको सामने पाकर पीछे न भागो। मैं स्वयं समरांगणमें प्रयत्नपूर्वक आज पाण्डुकुमार अर्जुनके साथ युद्ध करूँगा। तुम सब नरेश सब ओरसे सावधान होकर मेरे साथ रहो”
sahitaḥ sarvato yattir bhavadbhir vasudhādhipaiḥ | ataḥ yoddhāḥ yuddhabhūmim arjunaṃ samāne prāpya paścān na bhāgatha | ahaṃ svayaṃ samarāṅgaṇe prayatnapūrvakam adya pāṇḍukumāra-arjunena saha yotsye | yūyaṃ sarve nareśāḥ sarvataḥ sāvadhānāḥ bhūtvā mayā saha tiṣṭhata |
Sañjaya nói: “Vì thế, hỡi các dũng sĩ và các vua chúa trên cõi đất—khi gặp Arjuna trước mặt nơi chiến địa, chớ quay lưng tháo chạy. Hôm nay chính ta sẽ dốc sức lao vào giữa trận mạc để giao chiến với Arjuna, con trai của Pāṇḍu. Còn các ngươi, hãy cảnh giác bốn phía và đứng vững bên ta.”
