Shloka 23
नच सम ते रुजं चक्रुः पितुस्तव जनेश्वर । स्मयमानस्तु गाजड़ेयस्तान् बाणाञज्जगृहे तदा
na ca sama te rujaṃ cakruḥ pitus tava janeśvara | smayamānas tu gāṅgeyas tān bāṇān ajjagṛhe tadā ||
Sañjaya thưa: Tâu chúa tể loài người, những mũi tên ấy của hắn không gây cho người chú bên nội của bệ hạ một vết thương hay đau đớn nào. Khi ấy Bhīṣma, con của sông Gaṅgā, mỉm cười, điềm nhiên đón nhận sức nện của những mũi tên ấy.
