भीमसेनस्य बहुमहारथसंयुगः

Bhīmasena’s Engagement with Multiple Mahārathas

अवध्यानां वध कृत्वा राज्यं वा नरकोत्तरम्‌

avadhyānāṁ vadhaṁ kṛtvā rājyaṁ vā narakottaram

Sañjaya nói: “Giết những kẻ không đáng bị giết, người ta có thể đoạt được vương quốc—nhưng đó là phần thưởng ‘vượt cả địa ngục’, bởi ngôi báu mua bằng sát hại phi nghĩa sẽ hóa thành sự sa đọa về đạo lý và tâm linh.”
