Multiple Defensive Engagements to Protect Bhīṣma
सात्यकि: कृतवर्माणं वारयित्वा महारणे । शरैरबहुविधै राजन्नाससाद पितामहम्,राजन्! दूसरी ओर उस महायुद्धमें सात्यकिने कृतवर्माको रोककर नाना प्रकारके बाणोंकी वर्षा करते हुए पितामह भीष्मपर धावा किया
sātyakiḥ kṛtavarmāṇaṃ vārayitvā mahāraṇe | śarair bahuvidhair rājann āsasāda pitāmaham ||
Sañjaya thưa: Trong trận đại chiến ấy, Sātyaki chặn Kṛtavarman lại và, tâu Đại vương, trút xuống hắn mưa tên đủ loại, rồi xông thẳng vào Đức Tổ Phụ Bhīṣma.
