Daśame’hani Bhīṣma-yuddham — Śikhaṇḍī-rakṣaṇa, Arjuna-prabhāva, Duryodhana-āśraya-vākyam
व्यधमत् स गजानीकं गदया पाण्डवर्षभ:
vyadhamat sa gajānīkaṃ gadayā pāṇḍavarṣabhaḥ
Sañjaya nói: Với cây chùy, con tuấn ngưu trong hàng Pāṇḍava ấy đã đập tan đội tượng binh, phá vỡ đội hình lẫn nhuệ khí ngay giữa trận—một hình ảnh của sức mạnh võ trận thuần khiết bị dẫn dắt vào những tất yếu nghiệt ngã của chiến tranh.
