तमापततन्तं वेगेन शक्राशनिसमझ्युतिम् । द्विधा चिच्छेद संक्रुद्धो द्रोणि: परमकोपन:,उस बाणका प्रकाश इन्द्रके वज़के समान था। उसे वेगसे आते देख परम क्रोधी अश्व॒त्थामाने अत्यन्त कुपित हो उसके दो टुकड़े कर डाले
tam āpatatantaṁ vegena śakrāśani-samadyutim | dvidhā ciccheda saṁkruddho droṇiḥ paramakopanaḥ ||
Sañjaya nói: Thấy mũi tên ấy lao tới như sấm sét của Indra, rực sáng và vun vút, con trai Droṇa (Aśvatthāmā), bừng bừng phẫn nộ, đã chém nó làm đôi.
