Adhyāya 90: Babhruvāhana’s Reception and the Commencement of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Aśvamedha

धर्ममेव गुरु ज्ञात्वा तृष्णा न गणिता त्वया । “जब मनुष्यमें दानविषयक रुचि जाग्रत्‌ होती है

dharmam eva guruṁ jñātvā tṛṣṇā na gaṇitā tvayā |

Nhạc phụ nói: “Chỉ nhận biết dharma là bậc thầy tối thượng, con đã chẳng kể cả cơn khát là gì. Khi lòng ham muốn bố thí thức dậy trong một người, dharma của người ấy không hề suy giảm. Con đã xem dharma cao hơn cả sự quyến luyến với vợ và tình thương với con, và vì dharma ấy mà coi đói khát như chuyện không đáng kể.”
