Adhyāya 90: Babhruvāhana’s Reception and the Commencement of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Aśvamedha
श्षशुर उवाच अनेन नित्यं साध्वी त्वं शीलवृत्तेन शोभसे । या त्वं धर्मव्रतोपेता गुरुवृत्तिमवेक्षसे
śvaśura uvāca: anena nityaṁ sādhvī tvaṁ śīla-vṛttena śobhase | yā tvaṁ dharma-vrata-upetā guru-vṛttim avekṣase ||
Cha chồng nói: “Nhờ hạnh ấy, con luôn rạng ngời như một người phụ nữ hiền đức, được tô điểm bởi phẩm hạnh và nếp sống ngay thẳng. Vì con chuyên tâm theo dharma và các giới nguyện, lại luôn chú ý phụng sự và kính trọng đúng mực đối với bậc trưởng thượng và thầy dạy, ta sẽ không để con bị mất phần công đức. Hỡi người hữu phúc, được kể vào hàng người chính trực, ta nhất định nhận phần sattu con dâng.”
