Marutta’s Sacrifice and Agni’s Embassy (मरुत्त-यज्ञे दूतत्वम्)
व्यास उवाच ततः प्रायाद् धूमकेतुर्महात्मा वनस्पतीन् वीरुधश्चापमृद्नन् । कामाद्धिमान्ते परिवर्तमान: काष्ठातिगो मातरिश्वेव नर्दन्
vyāsa uvāca tataḥ prāyād dhūmaketur mahātmā vanaspatīn vīrudhaś cāpamṛdnan | kāmād dhimānte parivartamānaḥ kāṣṭhātigo mātariśveva nardan ||
Vyāsa nói: Bấy giờ Agni, bậc đại hồn với ngọn cờ là khói, rời khỏi nơi ấy, giẫm nát cây cối và dây leo. Ngài cuộn trào tiến tới theo ý mình, như cơn gió tung hoành vào cuối mùa đông, gầm vang khi lướt đi—một hình ảnh khắc họa sức mạnh thanh tẩy, không gì cưỡng nổi của thần lực khi đã khởi động.
