अर्जुनदुःखहेतुप्रश्नः — Inquiry into the cause of Arjuna’s recurring hardship

श्वशुरात्‌ प्रीतिदायं त॑ं प्राप्प सा प्रीतमानसा । चकार पुण्यकं तेन सुमहत्‌ संघश: पृथा,श्वशुरकी ओरसे प्रेमपूर्वक मिले हुए उस धनको पाकर कुन्तीदेवी मन-ही-मन बहुत प्रसन्न हुई और उसके द्वारा उन्होंने बड़े-बड़े सामूहिक पुण्य-कार्य किये

śvaśurāt prītidāyaṃ taṃ prāpya sā prītamānasā | cakāra puṇyakaṃ tena sumahat saṅghaśaḥ pṛthā ||

Vaiśampāyana nói: Nhận từ cha chồng món quà trao bằng tình thâm, Kuntī (Pṛthā) vui mừng trong dạ. Với số của cải ấy, bà đã sắp đặt những công đức lớn lao theo quy mô cộng đồng—những việc bố thí và cúng dường vì lợi ích của muôn người.
