अश्वमेधीयस्य हयस्य दक्षिणापश्चिमगमनम् — The Sacrificial Horse’s Southern and Western Circuit
सम्भ्रान्तनरनागाश्वमपतद् विद्रुतं बलम् । हतविध्वस्तभूयिष्ठमावर्तत मुहुर्मुहु:
sambhrāntanaranāgāśvam apatat vidrutaṃ balam | hatavidhvastabhūyiṣṭham āvartata muhurmuhuḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: Đạo quân hoảng loạn—người, voi và ngựa rối bời—tan vỡ rồi tháo chạy. Phần lớn bị giết và bị đánh tan, chúng cứ quay cuồng trở lại hết lần này đến lần khác, không sao đứng vững hay tìm được lối đi ổn định giữa cảnh điêu tàn.
