बभ्रुवाहन-धनंजययोः संग्रामः
Babhruvāhana and Dhanaṃjaya’s engagement at Maṇipūra
तथायं सुरथाज्जातो मम पौत्रो महाभुज: । “मन्दबुद्धि दुर्योधन और जयद्रथको भूलकर हमें अपनाओ। जैसे अभिमन्युसे शत्रुवीरोंका संहार करनेवाले परीक्षितका जन्म हुआ है
tathāyaṃ surathāj jāto mama pautro mahābhujaḥ |
Vaiśaṃpāyana nói: “Vì thế, từ Suratha đã sinh ra người cháu này của ta, bậc đại dũng với cánh tay hùng mạnh.” Lời ấy nhấn mạnh sự nối tiếp dòng tộc sau những tàn phá của chiến tranh: huyết mạch được phục hưng nhờ hậu duệ xứng đáng, mời người nghe quay lưng với lòng trung thành lầm lạc và nhận ra sự kế thừa chính đáng theo dharma.
